How High Pressure Soap works

The High Pressure Soap cycle at the Kutztown Car Wash utilizes all five of the Cleaning Factors to wash your car.
  1. Chemical Action -
Our high pressure soap is a 100% biodegradable detergent ...
  2. Heat -
Hot water cleans better. Period. Our car wash water is heated.
  3. Mechanical action -
  4. Solvents -
  5. Foaming Surfactant -

How to use the High Pressure Soap

Pre-Soak Use the Pre-Soak cycle to loosen road grime. Step 1 The high pressure soap is designed to work together with the Pre-Soak. Wet your entire car with Pre-Soak, working from the bottom up to help avoid streaks.

Floor Mats Wash your floor mats with High Pressure Soap.
Step 2
Use the high pressure soap to wash your floor mats.
If you wash (and rinse!) your floor mats first, most of the water will have time to drip out before you are finished. (You might still want to put them in the trunk for the trip home though!)
Don't forget to take your mats home with you!

Wash Wash your car with the High Pressure Soap. Step 3 Use the high pressure soap to wash your car.
  • Hold the wand so the tip is 10 inches from your car. Self Service Car Washes are are designed and optimized for that 10" wand distance -- if you hold the wand further away, the impact of the water on the car's surface is dramatically reduced! In other words, 10" cleans best and fastest.
  • Hold the wand so the water hits the surface of your car at a right angle (perpendicular).
  • "Paint" the surface of your car with the stream of water to ensure that you don't miss any spots.
  • Wash from the bottom up.

Tires Wash your tires, wheels, and wheel wells with the High Pressure Soap. Step 4 Use the high pressure soap to wash your tires, wheels, and wheel wells.
When cleaning tires and wheels, hold the wand 3 inches from the tires.

Next Step! Proceed to the next step. Then... Proceed to the next step in your washing process
